Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineering Technician to advance medical device innovation by supporting design, development, testing and sustainment of electrical systems in a regulated environment.

You will manage the lab, equipment, prototypes, and documentation while assisting engineers with debugging and testing. Requirements include 5+ years’ experience, a high school diploma or associate degree in electronics, hands-on use of lab instruments, soldering, and strong MS

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering technician experience.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, spectrum analyzers and logic analyzers.
• Experience soldering and reworking electronic assemblies.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage R&D laboratory operations including equipment, supplies, prototypes, tools, and workstations.
• Coordinate equipment calibration and service-provider relationships to ensure compliance and maintenance.
• Build, modify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical prototypes, assemblies and test fixtures.
• Document rework activities and maintain associated records.
• Create and maintain schematics, BOMs, drawings, and Change Orders.
• Assist engineers with hardware debugging and testing activities.
• Create cable assemblies and harnesses with related drawings.
• Maintain inventory and tracking of lab equipment and prototype assets.
• Support verification testing, data collection, and test fixture development.
• Design and modify PCB layouts using Altium.
