Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies is hiring a Sr. Electrical Engineering Technician to support design, development, testing, and sustainment of electrical systems for medical devices.

You will manage the engineering lab, calibrate equipment, troubleshoot, prototype, document changes, and assist with PCB layout using Altium. The role requires a 5+ year track record in electrical engineering tech roles, strong hands-on skills with lab instruments, and experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent technical training.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering technician experience.
• Experience using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Manage R&D engineering laboratory operations including equipment, supplies, prototype hardware, tools, workstations, and general organization.
• Coordinate equipment calibration activities and manage service provider relationships to ensure laboratory equipment remains compliant, operational, and properly maintained.
• Build, modify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical prototypes, assemblies, test fixtures, and engineering hardware.
• Coordinate and document engineering prototype rework activities and maintain associated records.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation including schematics, assembly drawings, cable drawings, Bills of Materials, and Change Orders.
• Assist engineers with hardware debugging, root cause investigations, and electrical testing activities.
• Create cable assemblies, harnesses, and related drawing documentation.
• Maintain inventory and tracking of engineering equipment, tools, and prototype assets.
• Support verification testing, data collection, and test fixture development activities.
• Design and modify printed circuit board layouts using Altium.
