Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Lead Engineering Technologist for Marshall Steam Station in North Carolina. The role provides technical leadership, oversees training and development, and acts as a single point of contact for external control system vendors.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering technology is required.
• 8 years related work experience; in lieu, 10 years with HS/GED may qualify.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology is preferred.
• Onsite work at a company facility in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site subject matter expert for electrical systems.
• Monitor and trend system and component performance.
• Direct onsite testing and troubleshooting for emergent issues.
• Evaluate PM program performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance is maintained.
• Interface with operations & maintenance to address electrical/control system challenges.
