Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
A master's degree in engineering will be considered in lieu of the BS engineering degree
Minimum of 4 years of related engineering experience (Engineer III) or 6 years (Senior Engineer)

Responsibilities

Serve as site SME for electrical power systems
Monitor and trend system performance
Direct onsite testing and troubleshooting for emergent issues
Evaluate PM program performance and adjust as needed
Ensure regulatory compliance is maintained
Interface with operations, maintenance and other departments
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to address system concerns and budgets
Maintain plant risk grid for system responsibilities
Interact with external vendors to resolve issues
Support engineering design changes for power systems and related equipment
Provide single point of contact for external control system vendors
Research engineering issues and present recommendations
Serve as station PTAC
