Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc., Ingalls Shipbuilding division, is seeking a senior electrical integrator to lead research, design, and testing of electrical components and networks for military and industrial applications.

The role requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree with 14 years of experience, or an MS with 12 years, or a PhD with 10 years. You will serve as a SME and advisor to management, with 10–25% travel and U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university with 14 years of experience.
• Master of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university with 12 years of experience.
• PhD in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university with 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
• Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for military and industrial purposes.
• Contributes to advanced technical research studies and applications as a senior integrator/advisor.
• Works toward long-range goals with consultative direction and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Heads integration of IPS subsystems, coordinating with Navy and vendors to ensure overarching functionality.
