Powder River Energy Corp (PRECorp) seeks a Manager of Electrical System Engineering to lead System Planning, Protection, and Substation Engineering in Northeastern Wyoming. You’ll supervise engineers, coordinate outages, and guide interconnection efforts.

The role requires an Electrical Engineering background, a Wyoming PE license or plan to obtain, and 5+ years in power engineering with leadership experience. Join a cooperative focused on growth and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with power system focus.
Wyoming PE license or ability to obtain within two years.
5+ years in powerline design and engineering (transmission and distribution) with supervisory experience preferred.
5+ years of formal leadership managing engineering teams.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations of System Planning, System Protection, and Substation Engineering.
Provide outage restoration support, switching, device settings, and related processes.
Lead generation interconnection, load forecasting, reliability, load management, and substation design.
Supervise and support engineers and consultants; align with Engineering strategy.
