Job summary

Electrified Thermal Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer in Boston to lead the design of the Megawatt-scale electrical system and its controls for our Joule Hive thermal battery products. You will guide electrical analyses, supervise contractor work, and collaborate across the design team to meet schedule and cost targets.

You will also mentor junior engineers, perform site studies with customers, and support on-site installation and commissioning as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• At least seven years of electrical system design and deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of the Megawatt-scale electrical system and controls for Joule Hive thermal battery products.
• Lead development of electrical analysis/simulation methodologies to support system design.
• Manage and review work from contractors on electrical and control system design, fabrication and installation.
• Collaborate with the design team to enable an optimal design that meets requirements.
• Keep up with tools and programs; perform technical research and self-training as needed.
• Perform site-specific electrical system studies and designs with customers to enable project execution.
• Lead hiring, training and mentoring of junior engineers.
• Support on-site system installation and commissioning as necessary.
