Job summary

The Boeing Company in Tukwila, WA, is seeking an Experienced Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join the P-8 Electrical Power Engineering team. You will develop electrical power design for EP​GS and SPDS, work with suppliers, and support lab tests, flight tests, and production on site.

Qualified candidates have a BS in engineering and 3+ years of applicable experience, with eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in electrical systems design.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for EPGS and SPDS components and software.
• Analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware designs, and interface specifications.
• Test and validate to ensure designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Troubleshoot and support fielded hardware/software across the lifecycle.
