Job summary
Kiewit seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead field supervision on oil, gas and chemical EPC projects in the United States. You will supervise Foremen and labor teams, manage scheduling, drawings/construction conformity, and ensure safety and quality while coordinating with clients, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.
The role emphasizes leadership, cost control, and program development with travel and relocation as needed across sites.
Qualifications
- 10+ years' construction experience with 5+ years in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity.
- Strong leadership, safety mindset and ability to negotiate and plan.
- Excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and help to grow Jr. Superintendents.
- Review and approve labor rates for Foremen, journeymen and laborers.
- Manage contract administration and set up staff meetings.
- Develop client relations programs on site and oversee cost updates.
- Review, approve and negotiate change orders.
- Develop and implement project completion and turnover plans.
- Maintain daily diary for records.
- Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Support policy and staff changes as needed.
