Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Construction Electrical Superintendent in Reston, VA to lead electrical construction activities, oversee raceway, cable installation, equipment installations, terminations, and temporary power systems—while coordinating with engineering and procurement.

The role requires guiding Bechtel craft and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality work, aligned with schedules and cost objectives, and enforcing Zero Accident and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required.
2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years total experience.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with team leadership.
Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical construction activities, including raceway and cable installation, equipment installation and terminations.
Oversee temporary power system installation and ensure safe working practices.
Manage Bechtel craft and subcontractors to meet designs, schedules and cost targets.
Plan and enforce procedures aligning with drawings, specs and quality standards.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement and external stakeholders.
Support field change processes and ensure safety and quality requirements.
