Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a Construction Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction activities at the Reston, VA home office or project site. You will supervise Bechtel craft and subcontractors, ensure alignment with engineering designs, schedules, and cost objectives while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or international equivalent and 2–9 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and planning capabilities to deliver

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with combined cycle facilities is preferred.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications, with a working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages raceway installation for above and below ground.
• Oversees cable pulling plans and cable yard management.
• Coordinates electrical equipment installation and cable termination.
• Ensures Zero Accident Philosophy and safe work methods.
• Coordinates with subcontractors and external stakeholders on schedules.
