Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee commercial, institutional, and healthcare construction projects in the Birmingham, AL area. The role emphasizes field supervision, safety compliance, and strong leadership of electrical crews to maintain quality and productivity.

Applicants should have a minimum of 6 years in electrical field work and a valid Alabama Journeyman Electrician license.

Responsibilities

Supervise on-site electrical construction activities to meet timelines and safety standards.
Complete and submit daily reports and JSA documentation.
Collaborate with Safety Officer to ensure job site safety compliance.
Attend and participate in on-site scheduling and coordination meetings.
Manage crew assignments and productivity.
May perform hands-on electrical work depending on project size.
Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with office staff, project managers and trade professionals.
