Job summary

Freestate Electric is seeking an Electrical Service Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial and industrial electrical service projects from request through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability. You will liaise with customers, field personnel, vendors, and leadership in a union environment, administering service contracts and coordinating IBEW labor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and electrical industry experience will be considered.
• Minimum of seven to ten years in commercial/industrial electrical contracting.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and industrial electrical service projects from customer request through final closeout.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to establish project scope.
• Develop project schedules, manpower plans, procurement strategies, and execution plans.
• Coordinate project activities with customers, service supervisors, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with contract requirements, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Conduct project kickoff meetings and regular project review meetings.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and closeout documentation.
