Job summary

Freestate Electric is seeking an Electrical Service Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial electrical service projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate with customers, field teams, and vendors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires extensive experience in a union electrical contracting environment, managing IBEW labor, and responsibilities across estimating, scheduling, and financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7–10 years experience in the commercial and industrial electrical contracting industry.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible project management in commercial electrical service projects.
• Experience with IBEW union environment and signatory contractor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial/industrial electrical service projects from inquiry to closeout.
• Review contracts, drawings, specs, and requirements to define scope.
• Develop schedules, manpower plans, procurement strategies, and execution plans.
• Coordinate activities with customers, supervisors, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor progress for contract, schedule, budget, and quality compliance.
• Lead kickoff and regular project review meetings.
• Maintain project docs: contracts, POs, RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, closeout.
