Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DOE Q-level clearance.
• BS in electrical engineering or related field with 7+ years of field experience.
• Experience at a DOE/Category II Nuclear Facility.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and IEEE electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the LANL Electrical Safety Program.
• Provide advanced electrical safety support to construction projects.
• Conduct electrical incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Review LOTO procedures and IWDs.
• Develop and refine electrical safety policies and design standards.
• Evaluate equipment for safety compliance.
• Calculate electrical severity scores for incident assessments.
