Buzzi Unicem USA in Festus, Missouri is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead preventative maintenance and improve equipment reliability at the Festus plant. The role focuses on reducing maintenance costs and boosting plant uptime through PdM programs, life-cycle analysis, and equipment monitoring.

You will supervise electrical and instrumentation staff, plan CAPEX projects, calibrate instrumentation, and ensure MSHA compliance, working with operations to optimize performance and safety.

Formación

• Electrical Engineer Degree required.
• At least five (5) years experience in the electrical field.
• Proficiencies in PdM and preventative electrical maintenance.
• Strong electrical background with an emphasis on improving reliability.
• Good decision making-making, organizational and computer skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
• Cement process knowledge is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Implementation of a preventative and predictive electrical maintenance program including life cycle equipment analysis, on-line and off-line equipment monitoring programs, various NDT electrical testing platforms, routine electrical motor maintenance and electrical switch gear maintenance programs.
• Supervision of electrical and instrumentation personnel and contractors to include support and oversite with planning, coordinating, daily electrical plant improvements and electrical CAPEX project improvements.
• Directing electrical maintenance activities in the plant and quarry, which includes the repairing and adjusting of existing electrical equipment and installing of new equipment.
• Inspecting field instrumentation, wiring, calibration, equipment condition and proper installation, ensuring optimum operating performance.
• Directing calibration of instrumentation and control devices, testing systems for proper operation after repair, working from schematic drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s instructions.
• Preparing electrical maintenance and construction contracts, and maintaining records of costs on all project work.
• Training and supporting plant personnel in the electrical preventative/predictive maintenance program, as well as participating in the plant’s on-call program to provide on-site emergency repairs, troubleshooting and technical support.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance to all MSHA regulations.

Responsibilities
