Job summary

CapstoneONE Search represents a Fortune 500 manufacturing organization seeking a senior Electrical/Reliability Engineer to lead capital projects, support facility infrastructure, and improve electrical reliability and safety on a large campus in Tennessee.

Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will direct electrical power distribution work (480V, switchgear, MCCs), perform load calculations, and supervise contractor activities while ensuring NEC/NFPA 70E/OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years engineering experience in manufacturing/industrial facilities.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory and 480V power distribution.
Ability to read schematics, one-line diagrams, P&IDs, and drawings.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office.
Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead capital and facility improvement projects from concept through commissioning.
Serve as the technical authority for plant electrical power distribution systems (480V, switchgear, MCCs).
Evaluate electrical system capacity with load calculations and planning.
Oversee arc-flash, short-circuit, and coordination studies; maintain one-line diagrams and labeling.
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and other safety requirements; support electrical safety programs.
Coordinate electrical and mechanical contractors to meet project specs on safety and quality.
Support preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical distribution systems and troubleshoot issues.
Travel up to 25% as needed.
