Electrical Reliability Engineer

Location: Pensacola, FL
Pay: $100,000–$135,000 per year

Overview

Responsible for the design & reliability of electrical distribution systems and assets including turbogenerators, substations, transformers, switchgears, starters, protection relays, emergency generators, motors, VFDs, UPS, and battery backup systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own preventive & predictive maintenance program for low, medium, and high voltage electrical distribution equipment.
• Provide oversight and expertise for site electrical safety compliance to NFPA 70E, NEC, and IEEE.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in low, medium and high voltage hardware and distribution systems maintenance & reliability in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledgeable in engineering studies including load flow, arc flash, and relay coordination.
