Job summary

P&E Constructors, LLC is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Manager to lead and standardize the QC program across our active project portfolio. This senior, hands-on role owns electrical QC from installation through testing, commissioning, and final client turnover, providing technical guidance and quality oversight to project teams.

The role requires established experience in QC across multiple projects, NFPA 70/70E, NETA ATS, and IEEE standards, and willingness to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years electrical construction experience with 5+ years in QC/QA/commissioning.
• Experience owning electrical QC across multiple projects.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70/70E, NETA ATS, IEEE standards.
• Certified Quality Manager/CQE or NICET preferred.
• Journeyman/Master Electrician license preferred.
• Willingness to travel to active project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce the Electrical Quality Control Plan across active projects.
• Create standardized inspection checklists and turnover templates.
• Inspect electrical installations including raceways, terminations, grounding.
• Witness and verify electrical acceptance testing.
• Identify nonconformances and manage NCRs to closure.
• Audit subcontractor and in-house electrical work.
• Coordinate with commissioning agents and owner reps for milestones.
• Train field supervision on quality expectations.
