Job summary

P&E Constructors is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Manager to lead and standardize the electrical quality program across its active project portfolio. This senior, hands-on role owns the QC process from installation through testing, commissioning, and client turnover.

The candidate will develop consistent processes, oversee inspections and documentation, and provide technical guidance to project teams while supporting schedule and execution. Travel to active sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical construction experience with at least 5 in QC/QA or commissioning.
• Proven ownership of an electrical QC program across multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specs.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to active project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enforce the electrical Quality Control Plan across active projects.
• Establish standardized inspection checklists, testing records, and turnover templates.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on electrical quality requirements and codes.
• Perform and document in-process and final inspections of electrical installations.
• Witness and verify electrical acceptance testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify and document nonconformances and track NCRs to closure.
• Conduct quality audits of subcontractor and in-house electrical work.
• Oversee compilation of turnover packages and warranty documentation.
• Maintain auditable inspection/test records for clients and authorities.
• Coordinate with commissioning agents and owners to support milestones.
• Train supervision and craft personnel on quality expectations and docs.
• Collaborate with project leaders to resolve quality issues early.
• Track and report quality metrics and lessons learned.
• Integrate safety considerations into quality activities during site visits.
