Job summary

Capella, an IonQ company, seeks an experienced inspector to perform IPC-based quality inspections of PCBA, harnessing, and assemblies at our Louisville, CO site. You will review supplier data packages, document nonconformances, and drive corrective actions with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.

The role requires IPC-A-610/IPC-A-620 certifications, 6+ years in a regulated industry, and the ability to lift items over 40 lbs. ITAR compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a regulated industry (aerospace, robotics, medical device, automotive, or equivalent)
• IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 board inspection certification required
• IPC-A-600 preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items over 40 lbs
• To conform to ITAR, US citizen or eligible for authorization under ITAR requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed receiving, in-process, and final inspections on PCBA, harnessing, and assemblies to IPC Class 3
• Review and verify supplier end item data packages including Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), as built BOMs, electrical test reports, and x-rays
• Identify and document non conformances, segregate suspect material, and initiate supplier corrective action requests (SCARs)
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure traceability of materials according to AS9100 and customer requirements
• Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to resolve discrepancies prior to qualification and customer submission
• Support internal and external audits
• Work in manufacturing computer system to record inspections, move parts through inspection queues, and generate nonconformance report requests
• Implement and maintain a calibrated tool system and process
