Job summary

Capella, an IonQ company, seeks a skilled Quality Inspector for Louisville, CO to perform detailed PCB, harness and assembly inspections to IPC Class 3 standards and to verify CoCs and test data.

You will maintain records, support audits, and collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve issues before qualification. Must have IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certs, ability to lift 40 lbs, and ITAR eligibility.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in aerospace/defense or other regulated industries.
• IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 board inspection certifications required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs; ITAR compliance.
• Experience with MES and automated inspection tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed receiving, in-process, and final inspections on PCBA, harnessing, and assemblies to IPC Class 3.
• Review and verify supplier end item data packages including CoCs, as-built BOMs, electrical test reports, and X-rays.
• Identify and document nonconformances, segregate suspect material, and initiate SCARs.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure traceability per AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve discrepancies prior to qualification and customer submission.
• Support internal and external audits and record inspections in the manufacturing system.
• Implement and maintain calibrated tool systems and processes.
