Job summary

EMCOR Group’s Chapel Electric Co., LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager in Dayton, OH. You will oversee Project Engineers and Assistant PMs, coordinate schedules with Project Supervisors, and ensure work aligns with SOPs, budgets, and schedules.

This is an in-person role without hybrid/remote options. You’ll manage resources, mentor field teams, and drive project success by enforcing procedures, controls, and timely communications with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years related experience in electrical construction or similar industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred; Master’s degree in related field is a plus.
• Fluent English with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall flow of projects effectively from inception to completion.
• Oversee project organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
• Coordinate with field personnel and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Maintain financial responsibility for projects and ensure budgets.
• Review contract and bid documents from estimating; ensure proper turnover.
• Attend walk-throughs and ensure document control (insurance, permits, submittals, RFIs, changes).
• Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress/cost reports.
• Ensure compliance with building and safety codes and regulations.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management

Master’s degree in related field (preferred)
