Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Electrical Engineer to lead construction projects across the district, develop engineering solutions, and manage cost and schedule estimates.

You will oversee design, contracting, and commissioning of District electrical systems, coordinate with external firms, and ensure performance within budget. The role requires a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or related field, 5 years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, facilities management, or related degree plus commensurate experience.
• 5 years relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
• Project Management Professional certifications are a plus
• Experience as an owner’s representative is a plus
• Experience in commercial building Electrical system design desired
• Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70 and IECC
• Experience with Building Automation Systems, preferred
• Travel (15%)

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of construction projects throughout the project life cycle, from planning to closeout.
• Monitor project performance with contractors to ensure quality, on-time delivery within budget.
• Provide technical advisory and manage selected projects within the department.
• Coordinate with architectural/engineering firms on design criteria and drawings; oversee commissioning of electrical systems.
• Evaluate ongoing maintenance and engineering operations for efficiency and continuity.
• Develop design guidelines and standard operating procedures for electrical systems and equipment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
