The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Electrical Project Manager to take full responsibility for a design-build commercial project. You’ll be the lead on the ground — responsible for labor, materials, design coordination, and client interaction.

This isn’t a desk job. You’ll work closely with our field foremen (3–5 direct reports) and drive execution from rough-in to closeout.

You’ll be part of a two-person PM team. Together, you and the other Project Manager will rotate in and out of the onsite operation on a set schedule — ensuring consistent oversight while protecting your time for planning, vendor coordination, and documentation.

Project Details & Expectations

This is a long-term project — expected to span 8 to 10 years from start to final turnover.

Material procurement will be a challenge. Lead times are long. You must plan 30–60 days ahead at all times.

Strong leadership skills: a military background is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

• You take full ownership of the electrical scope — from kickoff to closeout
• You manage 3–5 foremen and 15–30 electricians with clarity and discipline
• You hit labor targets by planning manpower and managing productivity daily
• You stay ahead on materials — ordering to avoid project delays
• You make real-time design decisions in a fast-moving, design-build environment
• You maintain clean documentation using Procore, Trimble, or similar tools
• You lead like an owner — solving problems proactively, protecting margin, and delivering clean jobs
• You can prove it — we require the following for consideration:
• 3+ completed large-scale commercial projects (design-build)
• References from GCs, foremen, or clients who worked with you directly
• Tangible proof of your role in project completion

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years experience managing large commercial electrical projects
• Experience leading 3+ foremen or managing crews of 15–30 electricians
• Strong command of project documentation tools (Procore, Trimble, or equivalent)
• Clear communication style — written and verbal
• Ability to read, interpret, and adapt electrical designs in a fast-paced environment
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Prior business ownership
