Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. seeks a Lead Person to oversee project installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

You will manage on-site activities, supervise field crews, and coordinate with owners, engineers, and vendors to meet safety, budget, and schedule targets. Responsibilities include reviewing plans, maintaining logs, ensuring licensing, and guiding a team of 25+ personnel.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program.
• Six years (12,000 hours) or more of electrical industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise medium to large projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and safe completion.
• Oversee on-site management and safety, manage budget, schedule, and quality.
• Review project documents, plans, and specs; complete foreman logs, evaluations, POs, time cards.
• Effectively manage resources (tools, equipment, staffing) for the crew.
• Read and interpret estimates with PM or superintendent for installation and layout.
• Report to Field Supervisor, General Superintendent, or Project Manager; coordinate with Estimating, Accounting, HR, and other services.
• Engage with owners, owners' representatives, architects, engineers, trade contractors, vendors.
• Maintain required licensing and training requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
