Job summary

AE2S is seeking an Electrical Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical design and project delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure across multiple locations, including Billings, MT. The senior role requires an experienced engineer who can manage client relationships and guide multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction.

You will design power systems, instrumentation and controls, and SCADA, ensure compliance, mentor staff, and drive on-time, on-budget results for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of electrical system design experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Utah or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level electrical engineering and project management leadership for complex water and wastewater projects.
• Lead and support business development efforts to drive local and regional growth.
• Serve as a technical leader applying advanced electrical engineering expertise across project teams.
• Design and oversee electrical systems and components ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Conduct research and feasibility evaluations for new electrical technologies and applications.
• Lead large-scale electrical design projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Provide QC/QA for electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Mentor and oversee the work of engineers and staff to ensure delivery success.
• Collaborate with external subconsultants to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage client relationships, proposal development, and pursuit of new opportunities.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
