Job summary

AE2S is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to work on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will support electrical designs across facilities and municipal systems, collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects from planning through construction.

The role emphasizes hands-on design experience, problem solving, and opportunities to grow into technical leadership within AE2S's award-winning culture and extensive project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed for projects and business development.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional electrical engineering services for projects including planning, studies, design, bidding and construction administration
• Manage performance of assigned project team members
• Maintain existing client relationships and pursue new opportunities
• Identify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunities
• Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work
• Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments
• Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings
• Develop new markets and client relationships
