Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced electrical engineer to perform calculations, layout and design of systems per policy and code. The role requires independent tasking and collaboration with Project Engineer/Manager to manage design scope, budget and schedules.

The candidate will mentor junior engineers, oversee design reviews, and ensure construction documents meet standards. P.E. licensure and 8+ years of experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience.
• PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and layout and design systems.
• Apply practical knowledge to resolve project problems.
• Make independent engineering decisions with minimal supervision.
• May supervise subordinate personnel as needed.
• Knowledge of discipline-specific codes and building codes.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both written and oral.
