Job summary

Cuhaci Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. in Ambler, PA seeks a PE-licensed Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of experience to perform calculations, layout and system design per established policies, standards, and codes. The role includes potential supervision of junior engineers and designers.

You will apply practical knowledge to resolve project conflicts, lead design efforts, coordinate budgets and schedules, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience and PE licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and design systems per established policies, standards and codes.
• Apply practical knowledge to resolve project problems and conflicts.
• Independently make decisions on engineering tasks for projects.
• Mentor designers and supervise subordinate personnel when needed.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer and Project Manager on scope, schedule and budget.
• Estimate discipline man-hours and ensure design quality and timely delivery.
• Review design with other disciplines for fit, coordination and final design.
• Client contact and QA on projects in coordination with management.
