Job summary

A major renewable energy firm seeks a Sr Engineer II, Electrical BOP to support renewable generation assets. This role requires expertise in short circuit analysis and arc flash studies, and a PE license is preferred. Responsibilities include conducting studies, approving reports, and preparing technical documentation. The position offers a competitive salary range of $160,000-$180,000 and an array of benefits including medical, dental, and a 401(k) matching plan. This is an office-based position with travel required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years in power systems engineering focusing on short circuit and arc flash studies.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience with high-voltage power systems equipment.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards such as NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584, and NEC.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review short circuit studies and arc flash hazard analyses for electrical systems.
• Approve study reports and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain accurate electrical system models using ETAP.
