Job summary

SubCom is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Engineer to lead electrical design of next‑generation high-reliability undersea products. You will work with a team of electrical, mechanical, optical and reliability engineers to design fault-tolerant circuits for undersea operation and create verification/qualification plans.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototype work, test plan development, and collaboration with internal/external partners, reporting to the Director- Lightwave technology.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering/Physics is required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with analog/digital design, MCUs and FPGAs is required.

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital circuits and perform simulations.
• Plan and execute qualification testing for new products.
• Conduct hands-on work on prototype components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with internal partners and external suppliers.
• Develop test plans for factory production and support manufacturing.
