Qualifications

• Extensive electrical construction experience in water/wastewater or similar process-intensive environments.

Responsibilities

• Account management for assigned accounts with focus on long-term satisfaction, opportunities, and revenue growth.
• Develops and maintains relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers, municipalities, utilities, and other stakeholders.
• Evaluates bidding, material buyouts, and negotiating opportunities for assigned accounts.
• Maintains communication with Alterman personnel and informs leadership of significant issues.
• Communicates cross-departmentally for opportunities.
• Leads project planning with Preconstruction and Project Support groups to maximize profit opportunities.
• Leads project kick-off meetings and planning sessions with estimating and support groups.
• Prepares breakdown of estimates for LAW SOP.
• Reviews plans and specifications and ensures safety programs are initiated.
• Identifies constraints, shutdown requirements, sequencing challenges, and critical path activities.
• Coordinates planning for work in active water/wastewater facilities and ensures continuity of plant operations.
• Applies knowledge of water/wastewater and process-related electrical systems, including PLC/SCADA.
• Plans for underground electrical systems, temporary power, shutdowns, tie-ins, energization, testing, startup, and commissioning.
• Coordinates with vendors, systems integrators, instrumentation, commissioning personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Manages project development activities including status reviews, agenda setting, and meetings.
• Establishes schedule of values for contracts and assists in billing projections.
• Prepares major purchase orders and evaluates pricing and scope.
