McKim & Creed, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager (Electrical PE) to lead electrical engineering projects within the BEI Business Unit. You will interface with clients, oversee multi-discipline design work, and drive project staffing and delivery within budgets.

The role emphasizes business development, client relations, and providing technical leadership for power, lighting, telecom, and fire alarm systems. PE certification or reciprocity-ready status is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years professional experience required.
• PE certification or ability to gain one quickly through reciprocity.
• Experience in building power, lighting, telecom, and fire alarm systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the client interface for project matters and frequently interacts and works directly with clients.
• Leads and oversees the technical and design services for electrical engineering projects as part of a multi-discipline project team.
• Supervisory responsibilities include coaching, mentoring, and hands-on career development while identifying and recruiting new regional team members.
• Responsible for allocation of resources, manpower balancing/assignment to projects, and adherence to budgets.
• Prepares reports, design drawings, technical specifications, and permit submittals for projects.
• Sources new clientele and delivers high-quality service through operational excellence.
