Job summary

Jobot in Fargo, ND seeks an experienced Project Manager - Electrical Construction to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex electrical construction projects, including data center work.

You will manage schedules, budgets, contracts with vendors, and coordinate cross-functional teams while upholding safety standards and high craftsmanship to meet milestones and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in electrical construction.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets and schedules, and negotiate contracts.
• Strong communication, planning, risk management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project and related PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex electrical construction projects.
• Developing and tracking project schedules and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors for favorable terms.
• Implementing strategic plans to achieve project objectives and efficient resource use.
• Leading project teams and fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Overseeing procurement of materials and equipment as needed.
• Identifying and managing project risks and mitigation strategies.
• Resolving scope, schedule, and cost changes promptly and effectively.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints in line with design specs and codes.
• Making critical decisions to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely service delivery.
• Using MS Project and other PM tools to track progress and report to leadership.
