Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Electrical Operations Senior Technician to safely energize equipment, perform commissioning and maintenance, and support the energization of critical systems.

The position requires 7+ years in industrial electrical operations, strong SCADA experience, leadership and communication skills, NFPA 70E QEW certification, and maintenance of high/low voltage systems. This is a full-time, on-site role in Austin with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial electrical operation experience.
• Experience with SCADA control of electrical distribution, motors, VFDs, and relays.
• NFPA 70E Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW).

Responsibilities

• Operate High, Medium, and Low voltage transformers ensuring stable voltages/currents while monitoring SAG’S using SCADA control systems.
• Establishing & revising operation standards, & SOPs; Perform review and the implementation of operation standards and SOP.
• Check on site the status of legal compliance in terms of operation and maintenance, issue and correct any nonconformity.
• Create and run installation, extension, maintenance, public office services necessary for power operation and organization of fire/electricity-accident response teams.
• Run power/emergency power facilities, analyze causes and provide emergency treatment in case of an emergency. Acquire upper level certifications and receive education for a high level technician.
