Job summary

Reliable Robotics in Mountain View, CA, is hiring a Sr. Electrical NPI Engineer to drive the build and integration of electrical and avionics products.

You will shepherd NPI from prototype to production, define best-in-class processes, and mentor cross-functional teams in manufacturability, reliability, and cost control. The role requires experience in PCBs/PCBAs, DFx/DFMEA, CAD/PLM tools, and working in safety-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or systems engineering.
• 5+ years in NPI of PCBs/PCBAs with design, supply chain, manufacturing, inspection, or testing.
• 5+ years with DFx reviews for cost, producibility, and conformance.
• 5+ years in manufacturing knowledge within safety-critical environments.
• 2+ years with CAD/PLM software such as Altium, NX, Teamcenter.

Responsibilities

• Produce, integrate, test, diagnose, inspect, and maintain electrical/avionics assemblies and HITL equipment.
• Source, qualify, troubleshoot electrical/avionics products; conduct DFX reviews and scale processes.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and certification to embed producibility and compliance.
• Lead the creation and enforcement of NPI frameworks and reviews.
• Represent production in design reviews and evaluate designs for cost, producibility, inspectability.
• Establish and maintain DFMEA/PFMEA and validation strategies for new products.
