Job summary

Eaton’s Aerospace division in Orchard Park, NY seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical to support manufacturing cells for electric/electro-mechanical components. You will manage process documents, tooling, and test equipment while driving continuous improvement. Relocation assistance is provided.

This role requires hands-on experience with electrical testing, IPC/J standards, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust aerospace production. U.S. ITAR compliance applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years in electrical component manufacturing or testing.
• Associate/Technical degree with 5+ years in electrical component manufacturing or testing.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• This position requires ITAR U.S. person status; no immigration sponsorship.
• Preferred: Electrical Technology/Engineering degree.
• Knowledge of IPC/J Std aerospace soldering specifications.
• Experience leading process improvements and continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Ergonomics, and Change management in support of site safety goals.
• Generate and revise Manufacturing Processes and Work Instructions.
• Design, maintain tooling and electronic test equipment for production.
• Use of DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical circuits; understand theory.
• Perform wiring tasks for testing and development.
• Utilize PLC ladder logic and I/O knowledge for devices.
• Improve FPY and OPE; resolve manufacturing issues.
