Eaton's Mission Systems Division in Orchard Park, NY seeks a Manufacturing Engineer. You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, create work instructions, and drive FPY and OPE improvements at the Orchard Park facility.

Responsibilities include maintaining tooling and equipment, supporting proposals, resolving manufacturing issues, designing work cells, and applying Lean Six Sigma and 5S to reduce waste and improve KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or related internships/co-ops
• No relocation offered; must reside within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY

Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. This role is based in Orchard Park, NY.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year.

What you’ll do:

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 year experience in: Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering , or similar internships/co-ops
• No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in helping develop new products and supporting proposal work
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and Visual Control implementations
• Experience in designing tooling used in the support of Assembly and Test products
• Experience in Soldering, Wiring, Electrical assembly
• Experience in Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS)
• Experience in 2D/3D CAD software
