KBR, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical/Mechanical Technician to support the assembly, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex electronic and mechanical systems in our on-site R&D lab.

Formación

• High school diploma with 10+ years' experience or an Associate’s degree with 8+ years.
• Experience in commercial manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong electrical/mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills; ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes).

Responsabilidades

• Perform assembly, integration, and testing of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Execute high-quality soldering and cable/harness fabrication.
• Conduct electrical testing including continuity and voltage verification.
• Troubleshoot PCB-level, wiring, and system-level issues.
• Proficient in the use and operation of soldering stations, reflow ovens, and coating equipment.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Fabricate and assemble mechanical components and systems.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and modification of assemblies.
• Support equipment installation and maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.
• Work closely with a small team to execute fast paced, short timeline projects, both individually and as a team.
