Job summary

Spectrum Control in Fairview, PA, is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Designer to create and revise complex drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Cadence OrCAD, ensuring BOM accuracy and ECN compliance. You will support Engineering and Manufacturing across the product lifecycle, manage part-number assignments, and drive documentation quality.

The role requires strong CAD skills, familiarity with PCB layouts, GD&T, and documentation control, with mentoring duties and CAD standards improvements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical/mechanical design or product documentation.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks; Cadence OrCAD experience required.
• Experience creating OrCAD schematic symbols and PCB footprints; ECN processing.

Responsibilities

• Independently create and revise complex electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Update drawings and documentation per ECNs with proper control.
• Maintain bills of materials, manufacturing routers, and part-number records.
• Provide guidance and backup support to junior designers and documentation personnel.
