Job summary

Spectrum Control, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Designer to create, revise, and maintain complex drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation on-site at our Fairview facility.

You will manage part numbers, process ECNs, and ensure records are accurate while guiding junior staff. The role emphasizes proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and OrCAD, with responsibilities spanning PCB layouts, tooling, and documentation control to support engineering and manufacturing

Qualifications

5+ years of progressively responsible experience in electrical/mechanical design, engineering drafting, or product documentation.
Experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks in a manufacturing environment.
Experience creating and maintaining OrCAD schematic symbols and PCB footprints.

Responsibilities

Independently create and revise complex electrical and mechanical drawings using CAD tools.
Update drawings and documentation based on ECNs and ensure proper control of revisions.
Provide drafting support and guidance to less-experienced designers and documentation personnel.
