Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ electrical maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Military training and/or technical school preferred, but not required.
• Computer experience/operation and PLC Programming.
• Must be available to work 1st shift and OT when needed.
• Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety regulations.
• A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities

• Understand and demonstrate the behavior that safety of yourself and others is paramount and is the #1 priority at Westrock.
• Lead, plan and review the work of Maintenance I, II and III roles responsible for mechanical/electrical maintenance, repair and installation.
• Observe machinery or equipment operation to detect and identify malfunctions.
• Perform Preventative maintenance on plant machinery and facilities.
• Troubleshoot advanced electrical circuits.
• Operate various tools and instruments used in testing and repairs of mechanical equipment.
• Fabricate, assemble and disassemble manufactured products by hand.
• Use welding procedures and operate machine tools as needed.
