Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Course of study in electronics from a high school, trade, or technical school.
• Journeyman Electrical Program and a minimum of six years experience in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of national, state and local electrical codes.
• Experience with electronic systems, circuit boards, computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of three-phase electrical systems.
• Knowledge of standard practices, tools, and terminology in electronics and computer hardware/software.
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical/Audio Visual/Alarms for daily assignments.
• Respond to work requests promptly and courteously.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems and components.
• Assist with electrical systems installation including panels, transformers, and building automation.
• Assemble, install, test, and repair electrical and electro-mechanical equipment under supervision.
• Inspect systems to determine condition and needed repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain records of work and time sheets.
