Job summary

Inteplast Group Corporation is seeking a Senior Electric Technician to monitor and maintain extrusion and press equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support operators in daily production. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to plant rules, and hands-on electrical/mechanical diagnostics.

The technician will learn extrusion processes, interpret schematics, program drives/PLC, and perform preventative maintenance across manufacturing equipment, including motors, sensors and control systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Electrical experience is preferred.
• Capable of interpreting electrical schematics and drawings efficiently.
• Capable of programming drives and understand PLC logic.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety precautions and report hazards.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• Comply with current plant policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical/mechanical equipment failures.
• Interpret schematics and PLC logic.
• Work with Operators to learn extrusion and printing processes.
• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Replace electrical components and monitor machine systems.
• Travel as needed for training or support.
