Job summary

Valar Atomics Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Maintenance Planner for our Orangeville, Utah pilot plant. You will own detailed electrical work packages, drive planning standards, and help transition from construction to operations.

You will lead complex work control packages, incorporate NFPA 70E and LOTO, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure readiness and safety. This role requires on-site work in Utah and strong CMMS expertise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years related experience; 4+ years in nuclear/DOE facility planning.
• Experience with electrical equipment maintenance and planning principles.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and one-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review detailed work scopes for electrical maintenance and preventive/predictive tasks.
• Lead preparation and technical review of complex work control packages with procedures, drawings, and instructions.
• Incorporate NFPA 70E, LOTO, and isolation boundaries into work packages.
• Plan schedules, durations, and resource requirements; provide alternatives when constraints arise.
• Maintain asset records, PM schedules, and work orders in CMMS (eMaint).
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, health physics, EHS, and supply chain for readiness.
• Ensure compliance with DOE safety requirements and OSHA standards.
• Use automation tools to develop schedules, reports, and graphics.
• Develop and improve planning procedures and templates as the site scales.
• Guide junior planners and resolve complex work package/resource issues.
