Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Planner to develop maintenance work packages for the Orangeville pilot plant, supporting planning standards, templates, and CMMS workflows as the site moves from construction to operations.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering and health physics to ensure safe, compliant, timely execution of electrical maintenance, leveraging NFPA 70E and DOE requirements while building asset records and schedules in eMaint.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
0-5 years electrical maintenance/planning experience.
2+ years nuclear/DOE planning preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
U.S. person and on-site Orangeville, Utah.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed work scope definitions for electrical maintenance.
Prepare and review work control packages referencing procedures, drawings and work instructions.
Incorporate electrical safety requirements (NFPA 70E, LOTO, isolation).
Establish schedule activities, durations and resource requirements.
Build and maintain asset records, PM schedules and work orders in CMMS.
Coordinate with operations, engineering, health physics, EHS and supply chain.
Ensure packages comply with DOE, OSHA and site procedures.
Use automated tools to develop schedules, reports and graphics.
Help create and improve planning procedures and templates.
