Job summary

Roguesearch is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support Atlanta office projects through pre-construction and design phases. You will develop power distribution, lighting, and equipment connections, and coordinate with utilities, consultants, and mechanical teams.

Responsibilities include producing Revit MEP/AutoCAD docs, performing electrical calculations, and participating in BIM clash detection. A strong CAD/BIM background and NEC/NFPA knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building electrical engineering principles for commercial/industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of CAD/BIM methods and techniques (AutoCAD, Revit MEP).
• Knowledge of applicable codes: NEC, NFPA 70, NFPA 72, IBC, IECC/ASHRAE 90.1.
• Ability to coordinate with structural, mechanical, and architectural disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support ATL office projects in pre-construction and design with electrical design and docs.
• Produce construction documents using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Perform lighting calculations and layouts with AGi32/DIALux.
• Coordinate utility service requirements and load letters.
• Coordinate low-voltage/tech layouts with consultants.
• Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection (Navisworks).
• QA/QC support, redlines, and design revisions.
• Assist in bid documents, estimates, RFIs during pre-construction.
