Job summary

RogueSearch invites an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer to join our global construction projects. You will develop and review electrical and control system designs, ensuring compliance with project specs and industry standards.

This role encompasses SLDs, power distribution, VFDs, and instrument loop diagrams, with hands-on support during construction and commissioning. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in industrial EPC settings, strong knowledge of MV/LV/ELV systems, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or instrumental engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years in industrial construction, EPC, manufacturing, or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of MV, LV, and ELV systems; experience with major DCS/PLC/SCADA projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical, instrumentation, and controls designs for industrial/construction projects.
• Prepare SLDs, load studies, short-circuit, coordination, power quality, and wiring diagrams.
• Design MV/LV/ELV systems incl. power distribution, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS and security systems.
• Interpret P&IDs and support control philosophies across DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and SIS.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, startup, and system validation activities.
• Produce MTO/BOQ, cost estimates, and support procurement and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and participate in design reviews and HAZOP meetings.
• Maintain drawings, specs, and as-built documentation; provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
