Job summary

The City of Lauderhill is seeking a supervisory Electrical Inspector to lead a team responsible for enforcing the National Electric Code and Florida Building Code on new and existing installations. You will review plans, inspect residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, and ensure compliance to safety standards.

Reporting to the Chief Building Official, you will guide junior inspectors, coordinate scheduling, interpret codes, and communicate with engineers, contractors, and the public

Qualifications

• Experience enforcing electrical codes and inspecting installations.
• Ability to interpret building and electrical codes for compliance.
• Supervisory responsibilities over a team of inspectors.
